Don't take the rating seriously! I think the low rating is due to problems from a few years ago. The man at the front desk was a very nice guy. The rooms were clean and comfy! Only a two mile trip to town. Definitely give it a shot.
It’s a good motel for the price. We were just passing through town and needed a place to rest. The room is clean if you don’t look too close. The heating unit is load and the walls are thin. If you’re a heavy sleeper or really tired it’s fine.
The motel was a good place to stay for our attendance to a concert at SPAC. It was very close and easy to get to and from the venue. There is a very good BBQ restaurant within walking distance of the motel. It is an older motel, but it's kept up. There is a pool that looked clean and well taken care of. The owner was very friendly and helpful. It is close to a busy roadway so there is quite a bit of traffic noise, but I already have plans for stay there in the near future.
Just a couple Alaskan bikers riding beautiful upstate New York. Reasonable roo., older but was very clean.
